  6. How dare black people be arrested? They should be impervious to all accusations of criminal wrongdoing.

  7. They should have left when they were told to do so by the staff. Then they argued with the police for 8 minutes and got arrested as a result of their antisocial attitude.

  10. Makes no sense. The cops said they were arrested for trespass. They were waiting for a friend to turn up. Surely if they told the staff that then no cops would be called? If they told the cops that then no arrest would be made? I suspect they set out to get arrested just so they could get a lawyer on board, shout “racist” and go for a payout from Starbucks. Looks like a money making scam to me.

  13. Arrested for being a customer and being black. People there standing up for them saying they did nothing!!! But yeah they should leave because some white people got afraid and told an idiot at Starbucks they were afraid.

  14. If you don’t buy anything, you are NOT a customer. They should have bought 2 BLACK coffees. Starbucks is not going to allow their stores to become a bum hangout. Sounds like someone is trying to jump on a gravy train, just like Oscar Grant’s mama done did…..

  18. I know people who've gone in to Starbucks with their laptops and have written a screenplay. Why was this situation so different? Maybe more information will start to trickle out.

  19. This video is incomplete. In the full one, the white guy told the cops that he had met with the black guys at Starbucks a million times. They were friends having a business meeting about investing. Aside from thinking the viewers are idiots- and judging from some of the comments here, he might be right- here's a question for the white guy: Why haven't you invited your black friends to your home or office instead of Starbucks "a million times?" He'll never say the answer. He felt safer with them meeting at a public venue, as is often what women do meeting men. Some friendship.
