jw^t^ PROCEEDINGS ELEVENTH ANNUAL MEETING. The Annual General Meeting of the Society was held onWednesday, the 2uth July, in the Hall of the DrapersCompany, Throgmorton Street, a large number of membersbeing in attendance. The President, Professor J. Emerson Reynolds, took theChair at if oclock, ami called upon the General Secretaryto read the minutes of the last General Meeting. Thesehaving been duly confirmed— Messrs. A. G. Bloxam and L J.de Whalley were, uponthe moion of Mr. J. C. Gamble, seconded by Mr. F. N.Sutton, appointed Scrutators. The ballot was then declared closed. The President then called upon the General Secretaryto read the Report of Curx-ni. We have the honour to repoit that the number ofmembers on the register is 2,782, compared with 2,697 atthe last annual meeting. During the year 2£5 membershave been elected, andl70haye been removed by death,resignation, and other causes, showing a net gain of 85.
